I am a professor of exercise physiology and biomechanics, at Adams State University located at 7,544ft of altitude. I have 6 years of cross-country and track and field coaching experience and coaching and research experience at altitude. In the classroom I teach exercise physiology, kinesiology, strength and conditioning, and biomechanics at the undergraduate level. And at the graduate level; Strength and conditioning, Biomechanics, and research. Research interests include; the relation of work and power to bioenergetics focusing on body position to increase work and decrease energy expenditure. I also have experience coaching endurance mtn bikers, runners, and triathletes. I have worked with sedentary individuals and individuals with prosthetics pursuing their best self.
